The main element that shapes the heart and soul of the new ultra-modern Hyatt Regency Cairo West hotel is King Khufu’s Royal Ship (the Solar Boat), a symbol of greatness, rebirth, and majesty. ALDAU Development incorporated significant parts of Khufu’s solar boat such as the giant ropes and different wooden textures to design Cairo’s latest upscale hotel, bringing together a magical blend of history and modernity, expressing our passion and support for Egyptian culture.

To further highlight the ancient Egyptian influences and with a focus on the exceptional Pyramids view that the hotel offers, ADD Art added another layer of sophistication to the luxury suites. Thanks to a collaboration agreement with the Rare Books and Special Collections Library at the American University in Cairo, ADD Art was granted special access to a selection of very rare photographs of the Pyramids of Giza that has been reproduced exclusively for the diplomatic, presidential and royal suites at the hotel, for guests to admire along with the view.
